About Fieldcrest of North Canton
Even as a child, Sally M. Dale was drawn to the picturesque beauty of the historic Hoover Farm. Then in December of 2004, through her foundation, The Sally Morse Dale Foundation, she acquired the former Hoover Farm from the Maytag Corporation. Upon purchase, the property was renamed Fieldcrest of North Canton. Sally purchased the property with the intention of utilizing it as an educational facility for the entire community.
The preservation and historical significance of this property will be honored; we do not plan to remove or destroy any of the current structures. The existing buildings will be preserved to maintain their recognized historic significance while put to practical use in support of our Educational Charter. New structures will be added to complement the property and enhance its community value.
Over the past two years, Fieldcrest has seen monumental changes. We have opened the Lodge to a combination of business, celebratory, non-profit, and educational events. We have added 35 extremely talented and enthusiastic employees to our administrative, events, and teaching staff. In the Fall of 2006, we threw open the doors of Fieldcrest Montessori School.
While celebrating the second anniversary of Fieldcrest of North Canton, we excitedly look forward to what the future holds for us and the community. |
